Not to be immodest...

There's a lot of funny stuff going on at Our Town, most of which is written by not me. This, though, I wrote. And...you know those jokes that kind of make you chuckle but slay me, to the point where you forget what the joke was and become kind of concerned that I'm going to pass out? Or else you think you must have missed something because there's no way what you just heard was that funny? "Pumpkin pull" and, to a lesser extent, "grilled gurgers"--really that whole post in general, has pretty much reached that level for me. I can't explain it, but I'm as proud of that post as I am of anything I've done for a while. That is all.
