Smartr

The first two episodes of Smartr, a scripted comedy podcast created and written by Matt Klinman, Sam West, and me, are now available. It's a show about tech, venture capital, Silicon Valley, startups, you know, stuff like that. And it's funny.

The first episode is available for anyone to listen to for free. If you sign up for the Luminary podcast app, you'll be able to listen to the rest as they're released (including episode 2, today). You can get a month free right now when you sign up, which would take you through about half the show. If you are financially or ethically unable to subscribe to a premium podcast outlet, feel free to reach out and I'm sure we can brainstorm some way to get you access to the show.

The first episode is called Puel. It features Tim Heidecker, and it's about 1) organizing society by algorithm; 2) companies disclaiming responsibility of their own platforms; 3) swimming pools.

The second episode is called AutoNews. It features Nick Corirossi, and it's about 1) the capture of journalism by social media; 2) the subsequent capture of social media by bad faith conservatives and conspiracists; 3) a lizard.
