I take issue with #6 in the series - the pun was not created by the Daily Free Press staff; rather, it is the official title of the event which, while punny, was created by the MBTA.
The Boston University community would be far better served were you to focus on the terrifying puns created solely by the scourge that is the Daily "Free" Press, for introducing other (though still possibly subversive) elements only dilutes the powerful effects of your impressive and important work.
This is unquestionably a fair criticism, D. Grande. I grappled with this very question myself before I eventually decided to post it--and I think I have rejected previous puns for similar reasons. However, when I reread my mission statement for this "The P is for Pun series," that I would chronicle "each and every pun to be found in Daily Free Press headlines and captions," I decided that I simply could not sit on this wonderful example.
