Where does one buy a fan?
The answer, of course, is Wal-Mart, or Target or Caldor or something, because that's where one buys everything.
This no longer works.
What the hell is a fan anyway? Furniture? Houseware? Hardware? Book? (all right, so I just wanted to walk around Barnes & Noble for a while)
Or maybe the problem is just that I am very very dumb.

My problem is gloves. Where does one buy cheep winter gloves?
I ended up getting some childrens' Patriots gloves in the checkout line of Shaw's.
While searching for a fan, I saw cheap gloves (and hats!) in a drug store.
I'm trying to turn this childrens' gloves thing into a small-hands-better-for-rummaging-through-garbage thing, but I'm very tired.
not to sound creepy or stalkerish by knowing so much about your new neighborhood, but isn't there a bed bath and beyond right near you? (i worked for the lincon square business improvement district, what of it?) anyway, it should have a fan and all the other overpriced stupid stuff you never knew you needed until now when you don't have any money to pay for it.
Well that's terrifying.
Anyway, problem solved. I spent $13 at a hardware store yesterday for a fan that is about the size of my fist.
So you can stop obsessively checking this post, wondering "did he buy the fan? i wonder if he got the fan yet. where did he get the fan?"
Because I know that's what you guys would be doing otherwise.
What can I say. I have dedicated fans!
BAM.
I set 'em up, then I also knock 'em down.
I don't need a fan. This was all just an elaborate excuse for a wonderful wonderful fan pun!
In fact, I'm not even in New York! I've been living in a suburb outside of Portland for the past three and a half years!
And my name isn't even Chris! It's Craig!
(I wonder if anyone's ever going to read all this...)
Or maybe the problem is just that I am very very dumb.
Finally we agree.
I'm not going to lie. I came back to check if you had replied to my comment, only to see 14 comments and wonder, really, could that many people have fan advice?
Well, this fan sure is glad that your fan is fanning the flames of the comments on this fan-friendly post. FAN.
What you need is a TR-390 Vornado Metal Bladed fan. Any fan enthusiast/collector will back me up on that one.
